President's Day!

This is how I spend President's Day, a non-running day. It was a shovel 6" of heavy snow day and a lot of driving home. We got home and had to shovel. The end of the driveway is always the worst. Would you look at how tall those snow banks are! We have another storm on the way Thursday and I have no idea where we are going to put the snow! We don't own a snow blower, but Steve and I like to shovel. It's good exercise, quick and it burns calories! 
Shoveling was my only exercise for the day..because the other half, I was suck in the truck driving home in a snow storm. It was nice to put my feet up, read and then nap. This gives me the perfect excuse to be extra lazy and not feel guilty about NOT running! 
The best part of staying in a hotel, is the Buffet. We took full advantage of all the food! It's a good thing we only ate two meals here or I'd weight 500 pounds! The best was that caramel roll with pecans. I do love bacon.. salty then something sweet!

What you don't see on my plate was all the fruit. I ate that first before remembering to take a photo, blueberries, strawberries and raspberries! 
After breakfast, we played some games in the arcade. Logan and Celina both hit the 100 ticket jackpot! 
My favorite game was Deal or No Deal. We all took a turn playing. We even did a little gambling since we stayed at Black Bear Casino. Steve won money on 4 Aces and cashed out. I just gave money to the casino. Good thing I don't like to give more then $25! I'm a cheap gambler! It's just entertainment and I know when to stop! 

All this fresh snow is making me want to go cross country ski. I just don't have enough day light. There is always tomorrow. I'm good with a rest today. It will be enough just to get myself up to do the 90 day Bikini Challenge, Day 14.... (I'm too comfortable on the couch right now.. after dinner I'll do it) then back to running tomorrow!
