Last day in Washington DC

It was our last day in DC. The plan was to go tour Mt Vernon in the morning, but it was raining like crazy! It took forever to get a cab, so we skipped that and decided to go back and tour the Natural History Museum 

 We had a really nice room and close to the Mall.. 

Bugs of the rather large kind.. prying mantis. The guy was letting everyone touch it. No thanks.. Bugs creep me out! 

This is one tired little boy and such a good traveler. 

Before you know it.. our trip was over and it was time to fly back to 

Minnesota... good by spring like weather..
