Weekly Recap..

Sunday we did some MOA shopping miles of walking. It's starting to look a lot like Christmas at the Mall or all stores. We stopped to take a photo of the tinseled covered trees at the soon to be Santa display.
We found a new favorite restaurant at the Mall, its actually at the hotel attached to the MOA, Fire Lake or Lake Fire? Delicious Fries with cheese and mushrooms on top.
The wings were made with the honey they harvest on the roof top from the bee hives. The wings were just okay. We like a little heat with our wings and these were just smokey sweet.
My favorite bring my own drink where ever I go. Orange packages to add to my water with a lemon and straw. Its in place of ordering an alcoholic drink which I do not need the extra calories or the alcohol.
We celebrated Kendra's 29th Birthday last night at her house. She and Paul made a really good Mexican dinner. I love how she makes completely different Mexican food then we do. It's fun to try new foods. She made a sweet corn cake that I should have taken a photo of and purchased some Trader Joe's corn tamales. Plus, Paul grilled chicken, made rice/beans and peppers. Everything was delicious!
Kendra requested a vanilla bean cheesecake. So I whipped up one and used real vanilla beans. It was a winner cake!
