It might not look very fast.. at a 9 to 10.. 10:30 minute mile, but I'm improving with little effort. Look at that.. my average pace for 7 miles was 10:04.. Wish it was 9 something.. And wishing will only get me so far, as I need to work harder to speed it up! Still being a bit cautious for my knee.
I ate pretty healthy all day and had zero junk! We had Steve's parents over and they brought the pulled pork, and green beans with balsamic dressing. Steve made his yummy coleslaw and those small potatoes that I drenched in butter. I needed this meal after burning 850 calories running, another 100 strength training and then 750 or more calories burned working.
I was extremely tired after working till 3:30 yesterday. My energy was at Zero the rest of the night so I just kind of laid around and watched some TV. Unfortunately, Wednesday night is not the night to watch TV as nothing was on. I kept jumping around.. and nothing kept my interest. At least I was well rested this morning.. back at it.. running and working for only 2 hours today! I like being busy till around 1pm and then I need to be home.. doing what I want. Even if it is laying on the couch..
I'm getting my neck assessed this afternoon. Going to see a specialist since I still have issues turning my neck after a truck hit Steve and I in our car in the Goodwill parking lot. Which reminds me.. it's been since November that I made a donation... Might need to gather up a bunch of stuff we no longer use and drop it off at Goodwill.

I've been following the above blog, Run Fast, Eat Lots for a little while now. This woman is biking across the whole country from the East coast to the West coast with a team of other bikers. They had to raise money for cancer. It sounds like such a fun adventure and definitely something not many get to do. I'm not sure I'd be up for staying in school gyms or churches sleeping on the floor for a few months. She posts often so you can follow along in her biking adventures across our great country!
