If only we could have stayed on vacation one more week!

I hate when vacations are over. I just wanted it to last and last and last! I would have loved spending one week in the Black hills and the 2nd week in Yellow Stone. Might have to do that next year and just plan for it! 

Where do I start on our vacation??? The beginning. The hardest part was to convince my family that it would be fun to just have a total adventure vacation. That means camping in the Black hills. I think the kids had a hotel in mind but I wanted to get the full experience of waking up in the mountains breathing in fresh pine... 

We stayed at a centrally located KOA Resort. Camp sites, campers, cabins plus so much to do with 2 pools, hot tubs, jumping pillow, 25ft walls to climb, panning for gold, biking, ATV rentals, horse back riding, restaurants, wine tasting, bonfires, programs for the kids/activities for all, water slide, mini golf.. did I forget anything?

 The horses rode by our camp site up on the mountain. 

 Cooking .. chicken tacos, steak tenderloin, pancakes, and pizza

 River ran right next the picnic table, NO bugs! 

 It was a little chilly at night in the mountains, dipping down to 60 - 65*F but hot in the 90's during the day.

The resort was huge so we got around by riding our bikes.
