Celina and I brought 10 water bottles just to stay hydrated on this very hot day. I could not convince Steve and Logan to carry water. We saved a tiny bit of money but still managed to spend a total of $222.50, that breaks down to about $18 per hour for the four of us or about $4 dollars per hour/ per person while we were at the fair a total of 12 hours.
I didn't take a photo of every thing we ate but here's the run down....
Started breakfast off with a cinnamon roll and cheese curds from the food building. We all shared...
The remaining food we ate is not in any particular order..
Batter covered potatoes with sour cream, cheese and bacon bits, Pretty tasty with hot sauce or ketchup. This was our first year buying this food item.
A bucket of sweet Martha's cookies and the kids had all you could drink or in there case 2 cups of milk.
Garlic Fries 2 boats with a slice of apple. I ate the apple and it was delicious and cold.
Here's what I did not get a food photo of....
2 foot long hot dogs with onions (split in half to share)
2 corn on the cob roasted. (me & Logan)
Lots of beer - Steve
2 cups of Root beer - me Celina & Logan.
Twisted Tea frozen- me... sooo good and cold!
Cheese curds - Logan, Steve
Ice cream cone - Logan
2 Chicken taco's - All 4 of us shared
Blue cheese Corn Fritters - me 1 piece, Steve 5 pieces
Mini donuts - all of us shared
Gyro - Steve
I think that was it.. We ate our way through the fair...
People were EVERY WHERE and it was Dripping HOT!
We met up with Steve's parents for about 2 hours and that's all they lasted.
We had a big foot sighting..
Toured all the animal barns.. Didn't miss not having birds at the fair. I think Goats are still my favorite animal or is it the Alpaca's?
We stopped at Our Nelson Street..
Christmas at the Fair..
Lots of rest breaks...
No breaks from all the people.. They were every where. Logan, Celina and Steve shared their favorite Chicken on a stick from this Asian stand.
8pm.. Time to ride the bus to the car and get out of the State Fair.. Till next year.. 2016..
