We drove up Friday to Lutsen and didn't get our normal camping spot. We usually arrive Thursday and have always gotten a place to camp in one of the three sites. This time we were out of luck. We always joked what if we didn't get our camping spot, Where would we go. It's a good thing we always looked for back up areas to camp because that's exactly what we had to do.
It was over cast and rained every day. So glad we brought along the screen porch this time. We didn't have a picnic table which was a little bit of a bummer. We made due with out.
Logan gathered up rocks and made a firepit. All the wood was completely wet from all the rain so we never had a fire. We only burned up our garbage the last day and had a morning fire.
With all the rain, my white sandals turned muddy pretty fast.
