Wednesday.. over the hump and some snow.

Here we are at Wednesday. I made some really good Chocolate chip cookie bars for my customers and ate some for a snack. I've been thinking more and more about my diet and lack of weight loss.  It's time to diet again and lose weight. I still have time to drop a few pounds before bathing suit season, June.
I'm saying goodbye to cookies, fried foods and all white bread. I have to really stay with in my 1500 calories for the day and NOT go over every single day. I'm too good at giving up in the afternoon-evening. I have to stop that. It's time to try all those weight loss ideas, brushing my teeth after a meal, practice afternoon evening yoga, drink more water, keep busy, take a nap. Plan ahead for meals and snacks. Don't give up and don't give in. I need to do this to fit into my summer shorts.
I did a 6 mile trail run Tuesday morning. It felt great. Slow pace but I didn't care. I wanted to make sure my calves didn't tighten up and start hurting. That was my main goal to stay injury free.
After my run I'm always hungry. I pre-planned the night before and made extra roasted veggies. Filled me up and was a low calorie lunch. I need to do this more often for lunch and dinner.
I didn't get in a morning run today and I'm hoping we don't get the snow we are expecting because I'd like to run this afternoon.

Wouldn't that be nice

I just said "Wouldn't that be nice" after reading a blog post. It was about getting free stuff or being sponsored by a company. I could use a little free stuff in my life too, wouldn't that be nice.

I have a list of wouldn't that be nice...

1. To not have to work... wouldn't that be nice!
2. To be able to go on a vacation... wouldn't that be nice!
3. To lose weight with out trying.. wouldn't that be nice!
4. To eat pizza, cake and cookies and not gain weight... wouldn't that be nice!
5. To have abs of steel.. wouldn't that be nice!
What is nice about today.. its sunny! That always makes me happy!

The 50*F morning temperature.

Having leftover pizza, roasted sweet potatoes and parsnips to eat.

Working later in the morning to give me time to get up, do my daily exercises and go to the park to run 5 miles of trails. Not to mention, my calves did not hurt!

Seeing a movie with my kids this afternoon and its only $5 on Tuesdays.

What else is nice? Zoey is making, I take that back, just when I think we are making progress in the not peeing in the house.. I find an accident on the wood floor by the door. She is only 3 months old so too soon to expect her to be 100% trained.

Happy 99 cent Taco Tuesday and now Monday is $10 pizza. We have to find deals on Wednesday and Thursday because Friday is happy hour specials.

Monday in MN

Nope, we did not go away for spring break. No one went away when I was a kid. It now is the thing to do. Any chance people get from breaks from the kids schools they are off and flying to some where. Well, there is some thing to be said for just doing a stay-cation and dialing it down for everyone. I'm not one of these people that needs to go go go 24-7. Why do some parents feel the need to fill every spare moment with sports, activities or a trip? What ever happened to just plain old down time, lets all get bored for a change.
Yes, my hair is a mess. I should probably try to curl it or do something with it. I did purchase a big curler iron to attempt to do some thing other then put my hair in a ponytail all the time.
Today we took a drive through the state fair grounds. We are just a bit excited, 5 month and it starts all over again. Not that I'm wishing summer away but we do love our MN State Fair.
It was my Evan day. We took him to the Global Market along with the kids since they were off from school this week. We ate and then did our drive around the fair while Evan slept.
My exercise was only to take Zoey on a walk.
Monday is going to now be Take and Bake Monday at Savoys. It's only $10 for up to 6 toppings on a large pizza. It's usually a $25+ pizza for them to cook it.
