Picture night, other new goals and a bit panicked!

Last night I had pictures taken with Evan.  I decided to keep my hair straight since it was raining and my hair doesn't curl on a good day let alone a humid, rain day. It would surly go flat the second I tried to curl my hair. I still had some frizzy ends sticking up and did the best I could to smooth them out. Felt weird getting all dressed up and out of workout clothes for a few hours. Good thing I had a dress from a few years ago I could throw on. 

Evan took some super cute photos. This was one of my favorites. I love his smile. He got pretty attached to Mr. Bear and had a hard time giving him back to the photographer. 

I'll post more photos when I get the prints back. 

It's my last night of coaching boys soccer 6th-9th grade. It sure was fun doing something new and now it's time to figure out whats next to do. I have the need to come up with a new fitness goal. I've been thinking about getting another certificate since I have continuing Education credits to renew in 2017 for my current PT Certification.  It will either be a Group Fitness or an Advanced Personal Training Certificate. I will probably start taking classes this winter in January, part time doing 6 credits. I only need 2 credits of C.E. Something to look into. 

I've also considered finding something to do with animals. I might volunteer with a wild animal rescue and release program. Or maybe I can find a way to help out with Alpac's or those cute baby pgyme goats. I've also considered just getting a puppy but I'm not sure I'm ready just yet for a 12 year responsibility. I have to figure out what type of dog I want first and I'm too undecided to make that big decision just yet. 
I feel a bit panicked now that summer is running out of days. I feel like it just started and now its coming to an end. I have so many things I still want to do with no time to do it. I still have places to travel, bike adventures, more boating and more just being outside to do. I'm never ready to let go of summer days.

Here is the main reasons why losing weight is going to help

I am starting 14 days of weight loss because its going to help me feel so much better. 
Weight loss is suppose to help hot flashes. Maybe I'll feel cold instead of Blazing HOT. I don't like all of a sudden feeling like I'm boiling hot. This is the main reason for my need to stick with weight loss. I want to test out this theory that its going to help me avoid any hot flashes while I'm losing some pounds. 

Evan got down on the floor and took his Pepe's foam roller away. He wanted to roll out his body. It was pretty funny watching this little guy stretch and roll.

Here we come Brainerd...and now the weekend is over.

We were invited up to our friends cabin again this year. It's kind of been a yearly tradition since about 1999. I started my day off every morning by getting up early and going out on the dock. I did my hour long yoga while eating my breakfast out there. It was so calming and peaceful. We really lucked out on the weather this time. No wind, humid and in the 90's. Perfect to hang out in the water all day long. Maybe not so great to go for a run but I did that too!
I ran every morning while on my vacation. Just the same route. Down to the main road and back which was 1.15 miles down. I'd do this route two times to get in about 4.65 miles each morning. A perfect way to start the day. With the humidity and it already being in the 70's, it was easy being soaked in sweat. I had a hard time cooling off after. I probably should have just jumped in the lake. 
We spent two days in the water from 10 am to 3pm. I needed an afternoon nap every day since I'd get up so early. The sun took a lot out of me to and by 3pm, I'd need a break from all the sun. 
We got a lot of use out of the jet ski, the kids and big kids used the knee board and tube. 

 We kept cool by doing a lot of swimming..

 Watching the sun set... 
 Steve and Logan did a lot of fishing using the kayaks. 
 A bunch of ducks and an Eagle were out on the lake
Friday night  we took a pontoon ride to get Pizza at Zorbaz and again had dinner Saturday night dock side at Ernies on Gull Lake
 The kids did some evening fishing off the pontoon. I was really hoping we'd have a fish fry but they never caught enough fish.

A super fun weekend and its over.. till we do it all over again next year!
