We've waited 4 years for this day! Bye-Don 2020!!

 It's been a long 4 years and I'm tired of it. I want change and change now! I crossed my fingers and am hopeful that there are more decent people in the USA that want to unite not tear us apart. 

We drove about an hour away to pick up a new piece of exercise equipment. We figured by not paying for a gym membership, we save more than $650 a year or more. So we splurged on a cross ramp. Picked it up from this farm out in White Bear Lake. 

I finished up the leave mulching in front of the house and in the back yard. Glad that's all done! 

Since the weather was so nice, we had a bonfire in the back yard. No wind either which made it a perfect night. I even cooked some maple sausage over the fire for dinner with my salad. 

The sun set was amazing! 

Trying to extend the outdoor season as much as possible before we spend all the days inside.

We measured the doors and it was 2" too wide to fit in through the basement sliding glass doors. So for now, we have the cross ramp next to the dining room table. At least we can't forget about it! 

MN Covid numbers are not good! 

November - Week of super 60's!

 October was pretty cold and now we get a bonus week in November for putting up with snow and cold weather! We have a full week of 60's and it will reach 70*F by Friday! I have plans to be outdoors as much as possible this week! 

We had a really chilly Sunday. That didn't stop us from going to a new park to explore along the Cannon Falls river. 

We sat down at the river on the dry grass and watched the river flow by us. We bundled up for the occasion! 

On the way home, we were treated to lots of deer. I got out of the car to take a photo of these two deer next to the road. 

I was cleaning like crazy on Saturday! I had tons of energy and made the most of it. I washed some windows, mulched the yard. 

Found an old photo of the kids and their friends trick or treating years ago. 

November, Halloween and Time change!

 Unlucky us, we have one more hour to get through in 2020! I decided to use that to sleep in till 7:30am! A good use of the extra hour! 

Halloween morning, I cleaned our bathroom and then the kids, washed towels and cleaned the main level floor, washed all the stuff that doesn't go into the dishwasher, then went outside washed a few front windows, and mulched up all the leaves in the front yard. I had a very productive day!  While I did all that, Steve worked on putting in a window at his parents house for the 2nd day. Lots of issues that he didn't anticipate! He also changed his oil on the truck. 

We decided to go pick up deep dish pizza, picked up some local beer (Spiral Brewery). Went to the local park, Spring Lake and sat at a picnic table and ate our food away from people! It was chilly, I wore my winter jacket and grabbed the two blankets in the car to put around my legs. We didn't stay long. Its a good place to go when it's nice out again to have a few happy hour drinks or a picnic! 

Celina and Don carved pumpkins a few days ago. So they were out front with a bowl of packed candy for the kids to grab. By the time we got home 6:30, all the candy was gone and only a few trick or treaters were out. We did see a few fire pits on driveways with people hanging out. 

Logan was off to a small party with friends. I helped him find Celina's old bee costume. When he was little, all he wanted to wear for costumes was something scary or from StarWars. 

Evan and Madelyn, my grandkids and their costumes! So cute an Astronaut and the planets. 

They went trick or treating in their new neighborhood and then went to dinner after.
